What is Aiko ABC Cell Technology?

ABC stands for All Back Contact — a next-generation solar cell technology developed by Aiko Solar that eliminates all front-side metal contacts on the cell surface. Instead, all the electrical contacts are placed on the back side of the solar cell.

No Front Metal Grid (Zero Busbar)

• Traditional solar panels have silver “busbars” on the front, which reflect some sunlight and reduce efficiency.

• Aiko ABC cells have no front-side metal, allowing more sunlight to be absorbed—leading to higher efficiency.

Back-Contact Electrode Design

• Both positive and negative electrodes are on the rear side, reducing resistive loss and improving energy transfer efficiency.
